The methodology behind having a successful marketing plan is to know the district’s purpose and goals of the marketing plan. It is important that the plan has content that is goal oriented, attractive to the audience, and retains teachers and students in the district. It is important that districts have a brand and a niche to compete with school choice.

Designing for Mental and Emotional Health

Research shows that mood disorders, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts have increased along with academic pressure, social media use, isolation, and bullying. School environments need to be restorative, respond to the needs of individual students, and facilitate counseling and mentoring. This session will present design strategies and facilitate discussion on how designs can promote mental and emotional health for students.
