Inside the Exhibit Hall

While at the 2024 TASA Midwinter Conference, plan to spend some time in the Exhibit Hall to see nearly 400 exhibits and meet with the vendors, who come from across the country to share their products and services with Texas school leaders.

Be sure to stop by the booths of TASA’s Corporate Partners, who are major supporters of TASA programs and professional development opportunities, including the Midwinter Conference.  The conference mobile app, available for download in January, will provide a list of exhibitors that is searchable by category.

Exhibit of School Architecture

The TASA/TASB Exhibit of School Architecture (EoSA) showcases new and renovated Texas schools and celebrates excellence in planning and design of the learning environment. This year, 38 projects were nominated for the exhibit and displayed at txEDCON23, the TASA|TASB Convention. Of those, 23 projects were awarded Stars of Distinction in at least one of six areas of distinction. These projects will be on display at the 2024 Midwinter Conference and those that received at least four stars are up for the Caudill award, with the winners being recognized during the First General Session of the Midwinter Conference. Visit the exhibit to gain new vision and expanded design ideas for your own district, and learn more about the Exhibit of School architecture.

TASA Member Engagement Center in the Exhibit Hall

At the TASA Member Engagement Center inside the exhibit hall, you can visit with one of TASA’s Executive Superintendents — highly regarded former superintendents who are experts on public school leadership. They serve as an extension of the TASA staff and are available to support TASA members in a variety of ways, with an emphasis on helping new superintendents navigate the role.

At any time, TASA members may call on our team of Executive Superintendents for support on matters related to public school leadership, career pathways, and the transformation of Texas public education. As seasoned administrators, these superintendents are able to listen and provide support based on their own experiences.

While you’re at the Member Engagement Center booth inside the exhibit hall, take a few minutes to write a thank-you note to a legislator! Please help us show gratitude to those Texas lawmakers who stood firm against pressure and prevented private school vouchers from becoming law in Texas.
