TASA’s Aspiring Superintendents Academy is a must-attend for those who aspire to become superintendents. Held in conjunction with the TASA Midwinter Conference, the academy offers nearly 14 hours of content (over the course of the four-day conference) that focuses on both how to get the job and how to be successful in the job, plus attendees will hear from sitting superintendents and representatives from search firms.

Location

The 2027 academy will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Important Note on Registration

Registration for the academy is separate from Midwinter Conference registration but conference registration is REQUIRED as the two events overlap. Academy registration will be available to you in the TASA Member Services Center ONLY AFTER REGISTERING for Midwinter Conference. Plan to register for Midwinter THEN for the academy.

Academy Registration Rates

$250 for members and $300 for non-members registering online by January 13.

Price increases by $50 during on-site registration, January 24.

Cancellation

If you would like to make changes or review your registration information, log in to the TASA Member Services Center. On your profile page, use the left navigation (under your photo and name), to select “My Events.” You will see a list of events for which you are currently registered. Click on “Click Here” to access the event overview page, where you will find a drop-down menu that provides options for managing your registration. Follow the prompts.
