Beat the Storm: Take Advantage of Discounted Room Rates to Arrive Early in San Antonio
TASA has worked closely with the conference hotels to secure discounted rates for Midwinter Conference registrants who wish to arrive in San Antonio early to get ahead of the winter storm.
- La Quinta is offering an $89 rate
- Hilton Palacio Del Rio is offering a $99 rate
- Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency are offering $109 for Friday night and the group rate for Saturday
- Marriott River Center and Marriott Riverwalk have agreed to extend the group rate
Conference registrants should have received an email from Convention Housing Management (CHM) on Wednesday that contains details on how to adjust your hotel reservations to take advantage of these low rates for an early arrival.

Hotels Near the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
The deadline to book housing in the room blocks for the 2026 TASA Midwinter Conference/TCWSE Annual Conference has passed. You may be able to book lodging at one of the following hotels near the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Please contact the hotels directly to make reservations.
Modifications/Cancellations to Group-Rate Housing Booked Prior to the Deadline
The last day to book reservations through the housing reservation link to secure group-rate housing was January 5, 2026.
The last day to modify or cancel reservations through the housing reservation link is January 16, 2026. After that date, Convention Housing Management (CHM) will no longer have access to modify reservations, so you must contact your confirmed hotel directly for any changes.
Please note: December 5, 2025, was the final day to cancel without a $50 processing fee. Any cancellations made after that date will incur a $50 fee, which will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. Additionally, as per hotel policy, cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival, as well as no-shows, will result in a charge of one night’s rate plus tax, charged by the hotel, in addition to the $50 processing fee.
