Aspiring Superintendents Academy
TASA’s Aspiring Superintendents Academy is a must-attend for those who aspire to become superintendents. Held in conjunction with the TASA Midwinter Conference, the academy offers nearly 14 hours of content (over the course of the four-day conference) that focuses on both how to get the job and how to be successful in the job, plus attendees will hear from 25 sitting superintendents and representatives from 15 search firms.

The 2026 academy will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
How to Register
Online registration is closed. You may register on-site at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio as early as 7 a.m., Sunday, January 25. Find the main registration desk for the Midwinter Conference (and Aspiring Superintendents Academy) in the Main Lobby of the convention center on Level 1 (street level), under the escalators.
Registration Rates
$249 – TASA member also registered for TASA Midwinter Conference (You must register for the Midwinter Conference FIRST to access this lower rate.)
$299 – Non-member also registered for TASA Midwinter Conference (You must register for the Midwinter Conference FIRST to access this lower rate.)
$400 – TASA member NOT registered for TASA Midwinter Conference
$450 – Non-member NOT registered for TASA Midwinter Conference
Cancellation Fee
The cancellation fee for this event is $50.
If you would like to make changes or review your registration information, log in to the TASA Member Services Center. On your profile page, use the left navigation (under your photo and name), to select “My Events.” You will see a list of events for which you are currently registered. Click on “Click Here” to access the event overview page, where you will find a drop-down menu that provides options for managing your registration. Follow the prompts.
